To maintain a healthy body which is given regular aerobic stimulation, an adequate intake of the right types of nutrients and a consistent and progressive muscular challenge, follow my 5 point lifestyle plan below: -

1.     Exercise aerobically for at least 20 minutes, 3 to 5 times a week.  Aerobic exercise is anything that you can maintain for a sustained period which makes your heart beat faster and your lungs work harder.  This doesn't have to be really challenging exercise, just enough to start you sweating slightly and become a little out of breathe. The fitter you want to get however, the harder you will have to work at it.  If you fancy the thought of outdoor training but don't want to do it on your own click here for more details

2.     Work the muscles of your body twice a week using exercises such as press ups, squats and shoulder presses.  These workouts should be between 20 - 30 minutes in duration and you should work so that you can only just manage to do the last few repetitions.  To download a completely FREE home workout guide click here for more details.

3.     Plan out regular, balanced meals in advance.  Make sure you have the right types of foods available when you will need them.  Don't leave eating to chance or you will almost certainly end up turning to the wrong types of foods.  If you like the idea of following a well balanced diet that includes, menus, meal planners and shopping lists then click here for more details.

4.     Walk as much as you can, walking is very low impact, it burns of calories, helps to strengthen the muscles of the legs and its FREE.  I have seen many people transform their shape in rapid time, simply by increasing the amount of walking they do.  If you would like to take part in some organised walks, but don't like the thought of walking with the oldies then click here for more details.

5.     Consider taking full advantage of the progress made by the health industry over recent years to ensure you are eating the correct balance of vitamins and minerals.  A good supplement regime will not only ensure that you have no deficiences in your diet, but also make life a whole lot easier.  If the thought of supplementing your diet sounds appealing, click here for more details.
